The Muslim Youth Council of Nigeria is established to promote Islamic values and ethical leadership among Muslim youths across the nation. It is committed to advocating for youth development through quality education, vocational training, and mentorship opportunities that empower them for self-reliance and responsible citizenship. The Council provides a national platform for dialogue, unity, and meaningful engagement of Muslim youths in sociopolitical, economic, and religious affairs.
It seeks to foster peaceful coexistence, social justice, interfaith and cultural Dialogue, and a strong spirit of community service. Through strategic collaborations with religious institutions, governmental agencies, and non-governmental organizations, the Council endeavours to create impactful programs aimed at youth empowerment. It also dedicates itself to addressing contemporary challenges affecting Muslim youths, including moral decline, substance abuse, radicalism, and other social vices, by providing guidance rooted in Islamic teachings.
